Girl Scouts are a large organization in the United States and, with other names, all over the world. Few other groups focus on offering girls the chance to understand and appreciate each other, learn about the out-of-doors, and gain a respect for the community as a whole. Girl Scouts not only learn a thing or two about building campfires and making s'mores, they also learn how to be better people and better friends.
